Job summary

Helms Home Care Llc seeks a PRN Registered Nurse to provide home infusion therapy, ensure patient safety, and educate patients in their homes in Evansville, IN. This RN will perform catheter access, monitor vitals, administer meds, and document visits with scheduling coordination.

The role requires an active RN license and at least 1 year of infusion experience, along with reliable transportation to serve multiple patients in the area.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in infusion therapy or catheter care.
• Must have reliable transportation and scheduling coordination ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access and care (peripheral IVs, ports, PICCs/central lines) and monitor vitals.
• Administer medications including Abx, TPN, IVIG and other specialty meds.
• Document visit notes promptly using electronic charting and communicate with scheduling.

Responsibilities:

• As per the Patients needs perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), blood draws
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medication
• Make visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly

QualificationsRequirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license with competent in the duties described above
• Minimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care
• Reliable transportation, access to a printer/scanner/fax machine
• Must be able to communicate promptly with our scheduling personnel
• Expect to do 2 visits per week
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
