Job summary

Helms Home Care seeks a Registered Nurse for in-home infusion therapy, providing compassionate nursing services to patients in their homes on a PRN basis. The RN must perform catheter access, administer medications, monitor vitals, and educate patients, with visits scheduled across multiple states including Georgia and surrounding areas.

The role requires reliable transportation, a current RN license, and a minimum of 1 year in infusion therapy or catheter care, with access to basic supplies.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum 1 year of infusion therapy or catheter maintenance experience.
• Reliable transportation and access to printer/scanner/fax.

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access and care (peripheral IVs, ports, PICC/central lines) and vitals/assessments.
• Administer medications including Abx, TPN, IVIG and other specialty meds; perform blood draws.
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medications.
• Submit visit notes through electronic charting promptly.

Responsibilities

• As per the Patients needs perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), blood draws
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medication
• Make visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly

Qualifications Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license with competent in the duties described above
• Minimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care
• Reliable transportation, access to a printer/scanner/fax machine
• Must be able to communicate promptly with our scheduling personnel
• Expect to do 2 visits per week
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
