Job summary

Varco Home Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide one-on-one therapy in patients' homes, helping them improve mobility and independence with a flexible PRN schedule. You’ll work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, conducting home exercise programs and documenting progress in a compliant and timely manner.

Texas PTA license is required, and home health experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license (required).
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation & valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
