Varco Home Health, Hospice and Homecare is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide one-on-one therapy in patients’ homes on a PRN basis. This role offers a flexible, self-managed schedule, ideal for PTAs seeking work-life balance or supplemental income.

The position requires a Texas PTA license and the ability to work independently in a home environment. Home health experience is preferred, with EMR experience in Kinnser/WellSky considered a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Texas PTA license is required.
• Home health experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.

Aufgaben

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
