Job summary

Advocate Health in Kannapolis, NC is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures with high proficiency, following departmental protocols and radiologist guidance. The role includes patient preparation, order verification, contrast administration, and ensuring safety standards are met.

The position is PRN/part-time with variable hours, requires ARRT radiology or NMTCB CT registry within one year of hire, and completion of required safety training.

Responsibilities

• Identifies patients and verifies orders, ensuring proper consent and safety measures.
• Executes IV contrast administration per protocol and documents administration accurately.
• Maintains image quality and collaborates with radiologists to adjust techniques as needed.
• Contributes to patient safety through adherence to radiation protection standards and sterile technique.
