Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a part-time CT Technologist I to operate CT scanners and related equipment with high proficiency, following departmental protocols. You will prepare patients, administer IV contrast, verify orders with Radiologists, and maintain radiation safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT registry within one year.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests and verify orders with the Radiologist before performing exams.
• Identify patients and prepare them for procedures with explanations.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast according to protocols.
• Operate CT scanners and related equipment with proficiency.
• Maintain radiation safety and report equipment issues as needed.
• Rotate shifts including call back, holidays, and weekends.
