Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a CT Technologist for a PRN role in Garland. You will perform CT exams, prepare patients, and ensure proper radiation safety while supporting radiologists with contrast choices and imaging interpretation. This is a PRN opportunity within a large Healthcare system.

The role requires ARRT registration, state licensure, and an associate degree, with opportunities to work across a high-volume imaging department in a tertiary care setting.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• State Registered Radiologic Technician
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
• This is at our FSED

Responsibilities

• You will demonstrate knowledge of all CAT Scan exam protocols for specific exams.
• You will be in charge of exam preparations and patient instructions.
• You will utilize radiation protection methods consistently and use shielding as necessary.
• You will obtain patient history and collaborate with the Radiologist on proper contrast usage.
• You will be responsible for the post processing of data.
• You will assist the physician as necessary for all invasive procedures to provide best patient care.
• You will assist during codes.
