Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a CT Technologist for a PRN position at our FSED in Garland to join our radiology team. You will perform CT exams, prep patients, and ensure radiation safety following protocols.

Qualified applicants will hold ARRT and State Radiologic Technician credentials, an Associate Degree, and BCLS certification, with a commitment to high‑quality patient care in a busy ED setting. The role supports fast-paced emergency services, collaborates with radiologists on image

Qualifications

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
State Registered Radiologic Technician.
Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
This is at our FSED.

Responsibilities

You will demonstrate knowledge of all CAT Scan exam protocols for specific exams.
You will be in charge of exam preparations and patient instructions.
You will utilize radiation protection methods consistently and use shielding as necessary.
You will obtain patient history and collaborate with the Radiologist on proper contrast usage.
You will be responsible for the post processing of data.
You will assist the physician as necessary for all invasive procedures to provide best patient care.
You will assist during codes.
