Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a CT Technologist (PRN) for our FSED in Garland. You will perform CT exams, ensure patient safety, and support radiologists with contrast usage and post-processing. This role requires ARRT registration and an associate degree with BLS within 30 days of start date.

Qualifications

• Must hold State Registered Radiologic Technician.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification required.
• Associate degree in radiologic technology.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of CAT Scan exam protocols for specific exams.
• Lead exam preparations and provide patient instructions.
• Apply radiation protection methods and use shielding as needed.
• Obtain patient history and coordinate with Radiologist on contrast usage.
• Perform post-processing of data.
• Assist physician with invasive procedures to ensure best patient care.
• Assist during codes.
