Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a CT Technologist (PRN) in Garland to join our Radiology team. The CT Tech will perform CT examinations, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists on contrast use while maintaining high standards of care.

This PRN role supports the fast-paced hospital environment and requires flexibility to cover shifts as needed. Qualified candidates will have an Associate Degree, State Registered Radiologic Technician, and ARRRT certification, plus BLS within 30

Qualifications

• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician license required.
• ARRT Registered Radiographer credential required.
• Associate Degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of CAT Scan exam protocols.
• Prepare exams and provide patient instructions.
• Apply radiation protection and shielding as needed.
• Obtain patient history and consult radiologist on contrast usage.
• Post-process data.
• Assist during invasive procedures to ensure patient care.
• Assist during codes.
