Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a CT Technologist to join our team at the Garland-based FSED. The role requires adherence to CAT Scan protocols, patient instruction, and radiation protection practices.

You will collaborate with Radiologists on contrast usage and assist during invasive procedures and codes. The successful candidate will demonstrate ARRT certification, state radiologic technician registration, and an associate degree, with Basic Life Support obtained within 30 days of starting.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician credential required.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) credential required.
• Associate Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of CAT Scan exam protocols for specific exams.
• In charge of exam preparations and patient instructions.
• Utilize radiation protection methods consistently and use shielding as necessary.
• Obtain patient history and collaborate with Radiologist on proper contrast usage.
• Responsible for post processing of data.
• Assist physician during invasive procedures to provide best patient care.
• Assist during codes.
