Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a CT Technologist to join our FSED in Garland. You will perform CT examinations, prepare patients, and follow radiation safety protocols while collaborating with Radiologists on contrast usage.

As a PRN CT Tech, you will contribute to a fast-paced emergency and diagnostic setting, ensuring quality imaging and patient comfort. ARRT and State Registered Technician credentials, plus an Associate Degree, are required.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician credential.
• ARRT Registered Radiographer credential.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of CAT Scan exam protocols for specific exams.
• In charge of exam preparations and patient instructions.
• Utilize radiation protection methods consistently and use shielding as necessary.
• Obtain patient history and collaborate with Radiologist on proper contrast usage.
• Responsible for post-processing of data.
• Assist the physician for invasive procedures to provide best patient care.
• Assist during codes.
