Job summary

Medical City Dallas in Garland is seeking a CT Technologist to join our FSED team. The role requires knowledge of CAT Scan exam protocols, patient prep, and radiation safety to deliver high-quality imaging and patient care.

Responsibilities include post-processing, collaboration with radiologists on contrast use, and assisting during invasive procedures and codes to support timely diagnosis and treatment. This PRN position offers the opportunity to work with a large network of healthcare

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
• Associate Degree.
• This is at our FSED.

Responsibilities

• You will demonstrate knowledge of all CAT Scan exam protocols for specific exams.
• You will be in charge of exam preparations and patient instructions.
• You will utilize radiation protection methods consistently and use shielding as necessary.
• You will obtain patient history and collaborate with the Radiologist on proper contrast usage.
• You will be responsible for the post processing of data.
• You will assist the physician as necessary for all invasive procedures to provide best patient care.
• You will assist during codes.
