Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a CT Technologist for the FSED in Garland. You will perform CT examinations, prepare patients, and strictly follow radiation safety protocols under Radiologist supervision.

Qualifications include an Associate Degree and ARRT Radiographer certification with State licensure; BLS within 30 days. The position offers benefits within a major health system and opportunities in advanced imaging procedures.

Qualifications

• BLS/CPR required within 30 days of employment start date.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician credential.
• ARRT Radiographer certification.
• FSED setting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of CT exam protocols and perform CT examinations.
• Prepare patients and provide clear instructions for procedures.
• Enforce radiation protection principles and use shielding as required.
• Obtain patient history and collaborate with Radiologist on contrast usage.
• Assist during invasive procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Support during codes as needed.
