Job summary

Medical City Dallas is actively looking for a CT Technologist to join our team on a PRN basis in the Garland-based FSED. You will perform CT scans, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with Radiologists to optimize image quality and contrast use.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT certification with State licensure and an Associate degree in radiologic technology; BLS within 30 days is required. This position is within the HCA Healthcare network, offering comprehensive benefits and career growth

Qualifications

• State-licensed radiologic technician required.
• ARRT certification required.
• Associate degree in radiologic technology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of CAT/CT exam protocols.
• Coordinate exam preparations and patient instructions.
• Apply radiation protection methods and shielding as needed.
• Obtain patient history and assist Radiologist with contrast decisions.
• Handle post-processing of CT data.
• Assist during invasive procedures to support patient care.
• Assist during codes as needed.
