Medical City Dallas is seeking a CT Technologist to join its FSED in Garland. You will perform CT exams, prepare patients, ensure radiation safety, and collaborate with Radiologists on contrast usage. Requires ARRT registration and an associate degree, with BCLS within 30 days of starting.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support required within 30 days of employment.
• State registered radiologic technician credential required.
• ARRT registration as Radiographer required.
• Associate degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of all CT exam protocols and prepare exam rooms.
• Instruct patients and obtain history for contrast administration.
• Maintain radiation safety practices and shielding as needed.
• Collaborate with Radiologist on contrast usage and post-processing of data.
• Assist physicians during procedures as required and provide patient care.
