Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a CT Technologist to join the FSED in Garland. You will handle CT scan protocols, prep patients, and ensure radiation safety while collaborating with Radiologists on contrast use and post-processing.

You may assist during invasive procedures and codes to support high-quality care. Qualified candidates have an Associate Degree and ARRT certification, plus BCLS within 30 days of start.

Qualifications

• BCLS certification required within 30 days of employment.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician credential.
• ARRT-registered Radiographer credential.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of CAT Scan exam protocols.
• In charge of exam preparations and patient instructions.
• Utilize radiation protection methods and shielding as necessary.
• Obtain patient history and collaborate with Radiologist on contrast usage.
• Responsible for post-processing of data.
• Assist physician during invasive procedures to ensure best patient care.
• Assist during codes.
