Job summary

Fogo de Chão in Emeryville, CA seeks an Event Sales Manager to drive private event bookings and group sales. You will prospect target businesses, manage CRM and reservation systems, and ensure client satisfaction from inquiry to contract.

You will forecast three months ahead, develop quarterly plans, and partner with the General Manager on local marketing efforts to increase event bookings and traffic to the restaurant.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales or relevant experience.
• Experience in the Restaurant/Attraction industry preferred.
• Up to 10% travel.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales through active prospecting of targeted businesses and events.
• Enter prospects, contacts, accounts, and booking information in CRM and reservation systems.
• Manage the booking process and secure client signatures on contracts.
• Develop quarterly sales plans and build new customer relationships while maintaining existing ones.
• Forecast sales three months in advance and participate in trainings and meetings.
• Source, plan and execute local store marketing activities to drive bookings and traffic.
• Attend networking events as a brand ambassador and foster corporate relationships.
• Maintain professional communication with guests and manage on-site events and tours.
