Job summary

Trustmark Bank seeks a Director of Private Banking to lead, manage, and coordinate all processes within Private Banking. The role combines leadership with personal production, allocating ~80% leadership and ~20% personal client production.

The incumbent will drive sales efforts, supervise the Relationship Manager team, ensure profitable operations, regulatory compliance, and exceptional client experiences while maintaining strong client relationships and team performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or a related field.
• 5 years of Leadership experience including manager and team lead.
• 8 years of Direct private banking lending experience through personal production or a leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of Private Banking and bank financial products and services, including applicable laws and regulations.
• Advanced sales skills to lead business development activities within Private Banking.
• Experience working with affluent, high net worth and ultra high net worth clients.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train, lead and develop team of associates to promote maximum productivity and engagement.
• Manage profitability and new business development for supervised areas, ensuring high-quality customer experience.
• Serve as senior client-facing representative with the bank's most significant clients and prospects; transition clients to appropriate banker.
• Develop sales strategies and guide internal/external presentations, training, and cross-selling opportunities.
• Provide management and supervisory guidance to direct and indirect reports, including salary budgeting and annual reviews.
• Ensure compliance with policy, procedures, and regulatory requirements; manage risk.
