Tobii Dynavox is seeking a Prior Authorization Submitter to prepare and submit medical prior authorization packets, follow up with payors, and document progress in our electronic records system. You’ll work closely with insurance companies to secure authorizations for durable medical equipment.

Requirements include a high school diploma and about one year of medical office experience, plus strong MS Word/Outlook and phone communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• One year experience in a medical office with familiarity with diagnosis codes, prior authorizations, insurance companies.
• One year experience submitting prior authorizations for medical services.

Responsabilités

• Review funded cases and verify required information to submit is present and correct.
• Create prior authorization packets according to payor requirements.
• Submit prior authorization requests according to payer requirements.
• Save submission packets to electronic records.
• Document all steps taken to move cases forward with authorization process.
• Follow up on payor requests.
• Identify and report payor trends.
• Assist with other intake functions as needed to meet team goals.
• Performs various other tasks as assigned.
