SATO America is seeking a Service Technician I in Charlotte, NC to perform basic functionality testing, troubleshooting, and repair of SATO printers. This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys hands-on work, and is eager to learn. Training will be provided to prepare you for the job.

You will diagnose hardware issues, complete repairs, and help meet production and quality standards while following established procedures and work instructions.

Formación

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Less than one year of experience in a similar position.
• Experience with electronic repair, retail electronics, or appliances.
• Ability to follow and understand work instructions.
• General math and computer skills.
• Experience using various hand tools.
• Some knowledge of computers and test equipment.
• Manual dexterity and visual coordination.
• Ability to work effectively with others.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, test, and perform modular-level repairs on a specific SATO printer model.
• Use custom software testing suites to diagnose and validate hardware failures.
• Recognize equipment failures and determine the appropriate action.
• Use equipment such as voltmeters, computers, and specialized test fixtures.
• Maintain accurate records for individual repairs.
• Follow established procedures and work instructions to troubleshoot printers.
• Maintain production and quality output standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
