SATO America LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, repair, and train customers on printer and related equipment. The role includes both on-site fieldwork and in-house bench service, with travel to customer locations and escalation support as needed.

The position demands a sense of urgency, independent work, and strong customer service skills, with regular reporting, inventory management, and collaboration across departments to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or electronics certifications, or 5 years electro-mechanical experience.
• Experience using a digital multimeter and hand tools.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Solid technical ability with strong problem-solving aptitude.
• Understanding of electro-mechanical principles; laser printer experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain, repair equipment and train customers.
• Perform on-site and off-site service within a 250-mile radius.
• Travel frequently; manage field inventory of spare parts.
• Coordinate with Product Support Specialists and other teams when escalation is needed.
