Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is seeking a customer‑focused Field Service Technician to maintain, repair, and install office technology at customer locations in Columbia, SC and surrounding areas. You’ll troubleshoot printers, copiers, and related systems, perform upgrades, and complete service calls while documenting work and adhering to safety policies.

The role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to lift 50 lbs; on‑site training is provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in technical repair, service, installation, or support of copier and office equipment
• Strong electro‑mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Intermediate computer skills and ability to document service activities

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations
• Provide product training and support to customers
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits
• Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule effectively
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance
• Complete required Toshiba, dealer, and manufacturer training, and rebuild components in the shop as needed
• Accurately document service activities and follow safety policies and procedures
