Job summary

Canon Business Process Services is seeking a Print Operator to provide exceptional service for copy/print needs and to follow production processes for quality finished products. You will troubleshoot copiers and printers and support the print center daily operations.

The role involves reviewing print requests, maintaining logs, basic equipment maintenance, and coordinating with clients to meet deadlines. Training and team support are offered in a dynamic print environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-5 years' experience in a print center.
• Some familiarity with the general job functions and basic understanding of the job details.
• Knowledge of machine operations from low to high-volume, high-speed duplicating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review, prioritize and submit print requests according to complexity and urgency; ensure quality.
• Deliver print jobs within established timeframes and maintain service logs.
• Perform minor maintenance of printing equipment by clearing jams and placing service calls.
• Take daily meter readings on duplicating machines and monitor print supplies and paper stock.
• Inform clients of estimated completion times and resolve delays or issues to client satisfaction.
• Open/close the print center and keep the space neat and professional.
