Job summary

Canon Business Process Services, Inc. is seeking a dependable Copy Operator to support client print/copy needs. You will manage print requests, operate copiers and printers, and keep production logs to ensure quality results.

Responsibilities include handling routine maintenance, taking meter readings, and meeting tight deadlines while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced print center environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–5 years experience in a print center or similar environment.
• Familiarity with general print center functions and production processes.
• Knowledge of machine operations from low to high volume duplicating equipment.
• Proficiency with reproduction-related equipment and systems (fax, scanner, punches, staplers, inserters, folders, paper cutters, spiral-binding, velo-binders, stitcher and collaters).
• Ability to follow directives and work under supervision with attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service, professional attitude and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Review, prioritize and submit print requests according to complexity and urgency.
• Deliver print jobs within established timeframes and maintain logs.
• Perform minor maintenance and routine cleaning of reproduction equipment.
• Take meter readings and monitor inventory of print supplies.
• Inform clients of completion times and resolve concerns to satisfaction.
• Assist in keeping the print center organized and professional.
