Job summary

Canon Business Process Services, Inc. is seeking a Copy Operator to deliver exceptional service for client copy/print needs.

You will follow production processes to produce quality finished products, operate printing and binding equipment, and perform basic troubleshooting on copiers and printers. You will review print requests, meet deadlines, maintain logs, perform routine maintenance, take meter readings, manage supplies, and assist with mailroom tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–5 years experience in a print center.
• Familiar with general print operations.
• Knowledge of high/low volume duplicating equipment.
• Proficiency with reproduction-related equipment (fax, scanner, punches, staplers, folders, binders).
• Strong customer service and professional appearance.
• Ability to work overtime and meet deadlines.
• Physical ability to perform required tasks.

Responsibilities

• Review, prioritize and submit print requests according to complexity and urgency.
• Deliver print jobs within established timeframes and maintain logs.
• Perform minor maintenance and routine cleaning of reproduction equipment.
• Take daily meter readings and monitor print supply inventory.
• Inform clients of completion times and resolve delays or issues.
• Open/close print center and keep areas neat.
• Adjust image quality and manage files for print-on-demand orders.
• Prepare monthly production and volume reports.
• Support additional tasks as directed by Site Manager.
