Job summary

Waters Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Principal Informatics Sales Development Specialist to act as the North American software expert for waters_connect in LC and LC-MS workflows.

The role partners with Territory Account Managers, ISS, Product Management, and Professional Services to support opportunities from evaluation through close, delivering demonstrations and expert guidance on deployment, licensing, and expansion opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years in laboratory software, analytical instrumentation, or related tech.
• Experience with waters_connect; UNIFI preferred.
• Customer-facing presales or solution consulting experience.
• Strong presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel 50-75% across the US and Canada.
• Understanding LC and LC-MS workflows.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for waters_connect across US/Canada.
• Support waters_connect opportunities from evaluation through closure.
• Participate in discovery to understand workflow and requirements.
• Provide guidance on capabilities, licensing, deployment, upgrades, and expansion.
• Support discussions on compliance, data management, and administration.
• Collaborate with Sales, ISS, Marketing, Product Management and Professional Services.
