Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Principal Technical Tendering Lead to drive the technical strategy for high-stakes tenders. You will design multi-system solutions that fuse electrical, mechanical, and digital technologies into winning proposals.

You will lead the technical development with sales, engineering, and project teams, reviewing specs and driving value engineering to improve competitiveness. Expect travel as needed and a role that shapes global electrification efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Significant experience with electrical power systems, distribution, substations, automation, or related infra solutions.
• Experience developing technical proposals, bids, tenders, or engineered solutions for complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical development of complex customer proposals and ensure alignment with requirements.
• Act as the primary technical lead through bid/tender processes across cross-functional teams.
• Review specs, drawings, and requirements to design compliant, competitive solutions.
• Develop integrated electrical and power system solutions (MV/LV, protection, automation, digital power).
• Drive technical strategy, value engineering, and cost optimization for proposals.
• Coordinate technical reviews and stakeholder alignment to ensure accuracy and risk mitigation.
