Job summary

Schneider Electric in Dallas, Texas seeks a Principal Technical Tendering Lead to drive the technical strategy for complex bids, designing multi-system electrical, mechanical, and digital solutions to win proposals.

You will lead cross‑functional teams through the bid process, review specs, develop compliant designs, engage customers and partners, manage risks, and ensure a smooth handoff to execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Significant experience in electrical power systems, power distribution, substations, or related infrastructure.
• Experience developing technical proposals, bids, tenders, or engineered solutions.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical development of complex and strategic customer proposals, ensuring solutions align with requirements and objectives.
• Serve as the primary technical lead throughout the bid process, partnering with sales, engineering, supply chain, and project teams.
• Review customer specs, drawings, and requirements to develop compliant and competitive designs.
• Develop integrated electrical and power system solutions including MV, LV, protection, automation, and digital power.
