Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Principal Technical Tendering Lead to steer the technical strategy for complex, integrated infrastructure bids. You will design multi-system solutions blending electrical, mechanical and digital technologies into winning proposals.

You’ll lead technical development, coordinate across sales, engineering, supply chain and execution teams, review specs, manage risks, and support negotiations to deliver compliant, competitive offers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with electrical power systems, distribution, substations, or related infrastructure.
• Experience developing proposals or engineered solutions for complex projects.
• Understanding of MV/LV systems, protection, transformers, switchgear, and power distribution.
• Knowledge of SCADA/PLCs or digital power solutions is preferred.
• Ability to interpret specifications and lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical development of complex and strategic customer proposals.
• Serve as the primary technical lead through the bid/tendering process with cross-functional teams.
• Review specs and drawings to develop compliant, competitive designs.
• Develop integrated electrical and power system solutions for medium/low voltage.
• Drive strategy, value engineering, and cost optimization for proposals.
• Coordinate technical reviews and align stakeholders to ensure quality and risk mitigation.
• Engage with customers, consultants, EPCs, utilities, and end users to clarify requirements.
• Identify risks and opportunities and incorporate them into proposals.
• Support commercial negotiations with technical justification.
• Collaborate with vendors and SMEs to deliver accurate technical deliverables.
• Ensure smooth transition to execution with complete technical documentation.
