Capital One is seeking a Principal Associate to join our Recruiting Team. You will manage candidates through the recruiting and selection process, provide consulting and guidance to our Talent Acquisition teams and participate in projects that enhance the recruiting experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least 3 years of experience in recruiting OR 3 years in HR OR 3 years in client consulting, or a combination.
• 4+ years of experience in Corporate Recruiting – full life cycle, research, and sourcing
• 2+ years experience consulting with multiple hiring managers simultaneously and building strong relationships
• Ability to influence and drive results in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to use innovative techniques to attract and recruit diverse talent
• Experience in compensation and HR requirements related to hiring

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and executives to understand talent needs and develop hiring strategies.
• Manage full lifecycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, advising, and offers.
• Develop candidate pipelines and market Capital One’s talent brand.
• Screen candidates and provide guidance to business partners throughout the process.
• Negotiate offers and coordinate with cross-functional teams to close roles.
• Leverage data to report hiring status and results to leadership.
