Job summary

RTX's Processing, Guidance & Control Center in Tucson, AZ is hiring an entry-level Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Systems Engineer I to create high-fidelity simulations for missile design and flight test support, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will develop modeling solutions, perform trade studies, and guide junior team members through the product lifecycle, from concept to fielded products, while communicating results to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM obtained by start date.
• Experience applying object-oriented design in C++/C and using MATLAB and Python for data evaluation.
• Experience developing or simulating physical systems.
• Experience in modeling, simulation, statistics, or analysis for engineering solutions.
• Experience may be obtained through job experience, research, coursework or projects.

Responsibilities

• Create high fidelity simulations and models for missile design, performance assessment, and flight test support.
• Develop and implement modeling solutions; conduct trade studies and evaluate system performance.
• Collaborate with Guidance, Navigation & Control, Signal Processing, and other teams.
• Provide development guidance through the product lifecycle from concept to fielded product.
• Prepare detailed plans and interact with government counterparts as needed.
• Develop documentation and communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
