Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautic Systems in Palmdale, CA seeks a Structural Analysis Engineer (Level 2 or 3) for the 2nd shift (4/10 Mon-Thu). You will perform stress analysis on metal, non-metallic, and composite airframe structures in a fast-paced production environment using FEMAP, Nastran, Catia, NX and other tools.

Requirements include a STEM degree and an active DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one, with experience in bonded composite structural analysis and large Finite Element

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM required. Master’s degree with no experience for Level 2/3. PhD with no experience acceptable for senior track.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain per program needs.
• Experience with structural analysis of aircraft components, bonded composites, and large FE models.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress analysis for primary and secondary airframe structures.
• Review analyses, drawings, and repairs for accuracy.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing across disciplines.
