Job summary

MiniMed Northridge, CA is seeking a Principal Site Reliability Engineer to own the reliability, scale, and security of our AWS-based healthcare platform. You will bridge software and operations, building self-healing infra and ensuring 24x7 availability while upholding HIPAA, HITRUST, and cybersecurity standards.

Responsibilities include designing fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure, implementing GitOps with CloudFormation, building telemetry with NewRelic/CloudWatch/OpenSearch, leading incident

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree plus 7+ years in SRE/DevOps or advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Healthcare regulatory experience (HIPAA/SOC2/FDA) is strongly preferred.
• Deep AWS knowledge and container orchestration with ECS.
• Experience with CI/CD automation and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end reliability, scale, and performance of AWS-based platform.
• Lead incident responses and blameless postmortems for RCA remediation.
• Design highly available, fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure.
• Develop automated CI/CD guardrails and GitOps workflows.
