Job summary

MiniMed (Medtronic) seeks a Principal Site Reliability Engineer to own the reliability and performance of its global healthcare platform on AWS. You will design self-healing infrastructure, ensure HIPAA compliance, and lead incident responses with a focus on preventing patient-impacting outages.

Responsibilities include automation, IaC with CloudFormation, observability via NewRelic/CloudWatch/OpenSearch, and containerized workloads in ECS.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience operating in HIPAA/SOC2/FDA regulated environments is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, scale, and maintain highly available, fault-tolerant infrastructure on AWS.
• Lead incident responses and blameless postmortems to drive long-term remediation.
• Develop automated CI/CD guardrails and GitOps practices to empower developers.
