Job summary

Gen Digital seeks a Principal Site Reliability Engineer to lead reliability, scalability, and operational excellence for its platform. You will shape the SRE practice, drive production readiness, and partner across security, infrastructure, and engineering teams to build resilient, cloud-native systems on AWS and Kubernetes.

You will implement SRE frameworks, incident management, observability, capacity planning, and automation while mentoring senior engineers and aligning with enterprise

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering.
• Deep expertise in AWS and Kubernetes with hands-on design and operations experience.
• Proven ability to define and implement SRE practices (SLIs, SLOs, incident management, observability).
• Strong CI/CD delivery experience with Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive long-term reliability strategy for the platform across services and teams.
• Lead architecture decisions for highly available, fault-tolerant systems on AWS, GKE, and Kubernetes.
• Establish and mature SRE practices including production readiness reviews and error budgets.
• Guide platform automation and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and related tools.
• Drive observability with metrics, logging, tracing, and dashboards.
