Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to serve as the senior technical leader for strategic customers, shaping technical direction and driving cloud adoption across large scale environments in the United States. You will craft prescriptive guidance, lead architecture reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value.

You will define cloud-native reference architectures for AI, ML, serverless, containers, analytics, DevOps, and security use

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technology domain experience (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy for a portfolio of customers or a technology domain, driving multi-year architectural direction across teams and customers.
• Build technical relationships with customers and act as their trusted advisor; align guidance with customer interests.
• Engage and influence senior customer stakeholders (Director, VP, CTO, CIO) on technical strategy and investment decisions.
• Identify patterns and trends applicable to a broad customer segment to accelerate innovation.
• Share the voice of the customer to inform AWS feature roadmaps and influence platform evolution.
• Set technical direction and standards adopted by other SAs and define reusable reference architectures.
• Mentor senior SAs and contribute to growth of the Solutions Architecture team; assist in hiring and skill development.
• Act as a force multiplier to raise the technical depth of the broader team.
