Job summary

GlobalFoundries in the United States (Richardson, TX) seeks a Principal Engineer, Signal Integrity & Power Integrity Leader with deep expertise in SI, PI, die-package-board co-design, and system-level electrical architecture. You will shape high-speed interfaces, power delivery networks, and advanced packaging strategies across silicon, package, and board domains.

Lead engineering programs, drive signoff criteria, mentor teams, and partner with SoC, package, and board groups as well as customers

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years in SI/PI, electrical design, packaging, or die-package-board co-design.
• 5+ years leading SI/PI activities for complex SoCs/ASICs and high-speed interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead SI/PI strategy for custom silicon products across industrial, automotive, AI and networking.
• Define electrical architecture and PDN, high-speed interfaces, and board topologies.
• Drive die-package-board co-design for optimal electrical performance.
• Collaborate with SoC, Package, Board teams and customers to align roadmaps.
• Lead SI/PI analysis, signoff methodologies, and validation planning.
