Job summary

GlobalFoundries inc. seeks a Principal Engineer for Signal Integrity & Power Integrity to lead SI/PI strategies across custom silicon products.

You will drive architecture for PDNs, high-speed interfaces, and board topologies, and guide die-package-board co-design to optimize electrical performance across silicon, package, and board domains. You will collaborate with SoC, package, and board teams, mentor engineers, and set validation strategies while engaging with customers and vendors to align

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Applied Physics, or electromagnetic related field.
• 10+ years of semiconductor experience in SI/PI, electrical design, or package design.
• 5+ years leading SI/PI activities for complex SoCs/ASICs/high-performance systems.
• Strong understanding of PCIe, Ethernet, DDR/LPDDR, SerDes, UCIe, USB, MIPI, AI, automotive platforms.
• Experience with industry-standard EDA tools for package/board level simulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead SI/PI strategy for custom silicon products and drive design guidelines and signoff criteria.
• Define electrical architecture and system-level requirements for PDNs, high-speed interfaces, and board topologies.
• Lead die-package-board co-design and optimize package routing, floorplan, and power delivery.
• Collaborate with SoC, package, board design, validation, and customers to drive system-level performance.
• Mentor engineers, establish best practices, and drive technical leadership across teams.
