Job summary

SpaceX's Starshield team seeks a Principal RFIC Design Engineer to develop next-generation RFICs for space and ground infrastructure. You will design, simulate, and lay out RF/analog/mixed-signal circuits in SiGe, GaAs, GaN, or CMOS processes, collaborating with system architects and ASIC engineers.

You will own packaging prototypes, test the prototypes, and work with production teams to qualify RFIC components and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE/CE/CS as a baseline requirement.
• 8+ years of professional RF IC experience.
• Experience simulating RF/analog/mixed-signal circuits and systems.
• Knowledge of RF front end blocks and MMIC design is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate and model RF/analog/mixed-signal circuits and systems.
• Derive specifications for RFIC subsystems and circuits.
• Develop analog/mixed-signal/RF/microwave circuits in SiGe, GaAs, GaN, or CMOS processes.
• Work with system architects, modem/DSP and ASIC engineers to partition functions.
