Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Principal or Sr. Principal Project Management to oversee CAM networks for a classified program in Melbourne, FL. The role requires managing project performance, schedules, and budgets, with a focus on EVM and CAM certification.

The selected candidate will liaise between PM, planning, and clients, and may be filled at Principal or Senior Principal level based on qualifications. A Secret clearance is required to start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years’ experience in project management OR Master’s degree with 3 years’ experience in project management.
• Ability to obtain CAM certification
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience working with and manipulating detail-oriented data
• Understanding and application of Program Management principles
• A current active US Government Secret security clearance or higher is required to start, with the ability to obtain and maintain SAP/PAR clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
• Review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
