Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Melbourne, FL, is seeking a Sr. Principal Project Manager to join our Aeronautics Systems sector on-site. You will lead cost and schedule performance analyses, coordinate across multiple teams, and ensure delivery on a restricted program with a 9/80 schedule.

The role requires a strong background in project management, earned value, and data-driven decision making, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in a high-tempo environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of PM experience or Master’s with 6 years.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience working with and manipulating large amounts of data.
• Active US Government Secret security clearance or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Support the DevOps Operating Unit to accomplish monthly deliverables, metrics, and presentations.
• Collaborate across Business Areas, Operating Units, and functions to meet OU objectives.
• Assist with monitoring cost & schedule performance and reporting to program leadership.
• Facilitate Risk, Issue and Opportunity management.
• Establish and maintain the strategic rhythm.
• Coordinate efforts of various sub-OU teams.
• Earned value management of labor and material control accounts.
• Report earned value status to Program Managers and OU Management.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with diverse assignments across the organization.
