Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Largo, FL seeks a Principal Project Engineer to lead NC2 communications system programs onsite. You will direct cross-functional teams across mechanical, electrical, systems and software, manage budgets, schedules, and EVMS, and coordinate with management, suppliers, and customers. A DoD Secret clearance and U.S.

Qualifications

Requires STEM degree with 8+ years of relevant experience (5+ if advanced degree).
Active DoD Secret security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
Plans and coordinates program management and engineering activities.
Liaises between management, teams, and customers.
Monitors issues and develops resolutions for schedule and budget.
Leads cross-functional teams across Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, and Software.
Ensures EVMS-based budget and schedule reporting.
