Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for an onsite role in Largo, FL to guide system development and integration across programs for US military and international customers.

You will support test development, work with customers and suppliers, and ensure delivery of world-class solutions, with requirement to obtain a DoD Secret clearance after start and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Multidisciplinary collaboration across design, electrical, mechanical, software, test and other system engineers.
• Experience in Systems Engineering, Test Engineering, Software and Electrical Engineering.
• Familiar with the Systems Engineering V model and integration/test emphasis.
• Experience creating and reviewing mechanical drawings.
• STEM degree with 5+ years, or advanced degree with 3+ years, or 9 years without degree.
• Must be able to obtain US DoD Secret Clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Support full lifecycle development from CONOPS to Validation with the customer and leadership.
• Lead Integration, Dry Run, and Qualification Testing of the products you work on.
• Analyze and generate mechanical design documents.
• Influence decision-makers with recommended actions across complex problems.
• Support business capture by identifying technological gaps and opportunities.
