Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking a Principal Project Engineer to lead, develop, and establish the required technology and infrastructure for NC2 Communication Systems onsite in Largo, FL.

The ideal candidate will have DoD Secret clearance Day 1, U.S. citizenship, and a proven ability to guide cross-functional teams through development, integration and test across lifecycle stages.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Project Engineer or Technical Manager leading complex programs.
• Strong background in multiple engineering disciplines with emphasis on communications systems.
• Experience presenting to senior leadership and managing large-scale programs.

Responsibilities

• Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion within schedule and budget.
• Oversees administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects per guidelines.
• Leads cross-functional teams and manages design, development, and test activities.
