Job summary

Pearson seeks a senior product manager/strategist to advance content standards, taxonomy, and metadata across content units. You will work hands-on at Pearson’s edges, guiding senior PMs, rebuilding production workflows, and ensuring teams deliver high-quality, AI-enhanced content.

You will model taxonomy with content leaders and drive practical training. You will own end-to-end content systems work, including CMS/DAM/LCMS platforms and AI tooling, while coaching other PMs and shaping

Qualifications

• Seven+ years in product management in content/publishing
• Hands-on ownership of content standards work: taxonomy and metadata
• Experience with authoring, production, delivery platforms (CMS/DAM/LCMS)
• Built and shipped substantive content systems with AI tooling
• Experience in SVPG-style empowered product teams with outcome focus
• Proven continuous discovery and production workflow redesign

Responsibilities

• Embed standards spine inside business unit work with global data quality targets
• Redesign production workflows to shorten handoffs and reduce rework
• Collaborate with content leaders on strategy, planning, and craft
• Guide teams to high-quality content plans aligned to learner jobs and outcomes
• Design and deliver training anchored in real content problems
• Contribute to content job family and community of practice
• Foster AI fluency and practical automation of routine tasks
• Evaluate AI-assisted content generation with measurable quality gains
