Job summary

Pearson is seeking a senior product manager/strategist to lead the Content Excellence initiative, sitting with content BU teams to overhaul taxonomy, metadata, and production workflows. You will partner with editorial, product, and engineering to ensure high-quality, AI-enabled content processes that scale across markets.

You will influence senior PMs and leaders, design measurable content strategies, and help the community of practice become a practical resource.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of product management experience focused on content, publishing, or content platforms with technical depth.
• Hands-on ownership of content standards work: taxonomy and metadata design, quality frameworks, and structured content.

Responsibilities

• Implement the content standards spine inside real business unit work with global quality data and 95% metadata accuracy.
• Redesign and shorten production workflows, removing handoffs and rework.
• Guide content strategy and craft to learner goals and business outcomes, from MRDs to PRDs and specs.
• Build AI fluency across the content talent base through practical training and applied use.
• Identify manual content tasks worth automating and prototype automation to prove value.
