Job summary

Remitly is seeking a Principal Product Manager to own the core Remitly Business workflow, including payouts, approvals, reconciliation, and integrations. You will define the strategy to deepen customer usage, balance sheet impact, and revenue per business customer while navigating regulatory constraints.

The role reports to the VP/GM of Remitly Business, is an individual contributor with no direct reports, and operates within a hybrid model with 3+ days in our Seattle headquarters.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management, including at least 3 years owning a product area from strategy through launch and through post-launch.
• A retention, repeat, or expansion metric you personally moved, with evidence.
• Experience building a new product surface inside a working business, with real customers and revenue.
• Evidence of finding the problem before anyone asks you to talk to customers, and delivering an opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Own retention and depth for Remitly Business; drive share of payables and revenue per business customer.
• Define and refresh the strategy of what deepens customer behavior with data and market insight.
• Own the payment workflows: batch, scheduled, recurring, recipient management, approvals, reconciliation, export.
• Own the trust layer to enhance confidence in cross-border payments for businesses.
• Identify adjacencies and integrations with tools businesses already use to move money.
• Collaborate with analytics; treat data as a partner, not a dependency.
• Design within risk, compliance, and regulatory constraints with Legal, Risk, and Compliance.
