Job summary

Remitly, Inc. is seeking a Principal Product Manager to own the core Remitly Business payables workflow, including batch, scheduled, and recurring payments, recipient management, approvals, reconciliation, and exports. You will decide layering across customer segments and own revenue per business customer.

You'll work closely with Legal, Risk, and Compliance to ship within regulatory constraints, and report to the VP/GM of Remitly Business in a hybrid Seattle setting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management, including 3+ years owning a product area from strategy through launch and after.
• Experience building a new product surface inside a working business with real customers and revenue.
• Proven ability to discover problems via customer talks and data cuts.
• Real data fluency; build funnels and cohorts and tell signal from noise.
• Experience shipping under regulatory or risk constraints in fintech/payments.
• Experience building for small businesses that pay people (payments, AP, payroll, invoicing).
• Experience with multi-segment roadmaps for heterogeneous customers.

Responsibilities

• Own retention and depth for Remitly Business; drive revenue per customer.
• Own payment workflows: batch, scheduled, recurring, recipient management, approvals, reconciliation, export.
• Own the trust layer and integrations with tools customers already use to move money.
• Identify adjacencies and assess integrations; kill or launch based on core impact.
• Collaborate early with Legal, Risk, and Compliance to ship compliant products.
• Pull your own data with analytics partners and define success metrics.
