Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Principal Pre-Sales Architect to lead the design of complex technology solutions for Federal Government customers, aligning hardware, software, cloud services, and third‑party tech to business and technical requirements.

The role partners with sales and account teams to assess environments, craft future-state architectures, present strategic recommendations, and support opportunities through closure. Travel is up to 20% with weekly DC visits, and remote work is available.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with full-scope polygraph.
• BS in a related field.
• 10+ years of infrastructure engineering, support, and systems administration experience.
• 5+ years of work with AI, cloud software (open source, containers, virtualization, system management) and hardware (server, storage, networking).
• VMware virtualization (ESXi, vCenter, NSX).
• Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
• AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Federal or DoD customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of complex technology solutions for Federal Government customers, aligning hardware, software, cloud, services, and third-party tech to business and technical requirements.
• Partner with sales and account teams to assess customer environments, develop future-state architectures, present strategic recommendations, and support opportunities through closure.
• Serve as a technical SME, mentoring teams and partners while providing insights into customer needs, market trends, and emerging technologies.
